Ålesund Air Ambulance base
This is a pic from our air ambulance base at the hospital outside the city of Ålesund. One of the most beautiful bases in Norway with the spectacular mountain surroundings. Nearby is the famous Trollveggen wall. Trollveggen is the highest vertical mountain wall in Europe. It is 5950 feet from the valley to the top of the wall. The wall is weel known for its dangerous climbs and base jumps. These mountains presents challenging conditions for rescue work. A few pic from our traning camp for rescue paramedics here.
